Your own art quilt made from a photograph of your favourite pet (or pets if there's more than one in the same photo)! The shortest side will be 1 metre, the longest side depends on the photograph to work from and the direction we collaboratively decide to go in.

These quilts take around 30 hours to make. Please allow up to 6 weeks for creation- I will send you photos of the progress along the way.

The quilt is made starting with a drawing and then blowing up to the size of the quilt. The shade is written on each section and then it is traced onto freezer paper and used as a cutting template for the fabric pieces. The pieces have edges turned under before being appliqued together.

Depending on the photograph, on occasion fabric paint may be applied for highlights and a sketchy texture style of quilting for realism is added over the top.

A sleeve will be provided on the back for easy hanging with dowel (not included). Shipping is by tracked mail only. FREE SHIPPING.

They are washable at low temperatures and on a gentle setting.
